Of the 100 most popular websites in the UK, 27 are recruitment related. Every day new recruitment websites are being launched. These sites have so far been extremely successful in selling advertising space, to both recruitment consultancies and employers. They also offer candidates the opportunity to register their CV’s online, to be browsed or searched by any recruitment company or employer. This can work well for contractors and permanent jobseekers. However, as almost every recruitment firm will now have their own website, the volume of recruitment resources available on the Internet is growing inexorably. Recruitment firms now want to attract traffic to their own sites, where they can show every current vacancy, control the presentation and maintain their own professional standards.
Despite the fact that the Internet is said to be “only 13 clicks wide”, even the best search engines can only index approximately 42% of the available sites. When you carry out a search, the response is liberally composed of precisely what you're looking for, and completely irrelevant websites. Web surfers are increasingly using search engines in much more sophisticated ways, when seeking a particular kind of site. It can therefore be an arduous exercise to ensure that particular web sites are regularly shown in a search results top 20.

We will list every single recruitment firm in the U.K. for no charge, giving details of their address, telephone, fax, industries covered, map to their premises, when established, main contacts, REC accreditation, and of course a link directly to their own website.
Candidates will be able to search for, and identify, Recruitment Consultants in their location who specialise in their chosen industry or discipline, and be able to contact them directly.
Recruitment Consultants will be listed with all their contact details, including a direct email link if possible. Details shown will include the number of years experience, REC accreditation, qualifications etc.
Candidates will be able to identify all current recruitment web sites, which are relevant to their job search.
All recruitment websites will be listed and updated as soon as new ones appear. Candidates will be able to review these sites and their effectiveness.
Candidates will be able search for, and identify the major employers in their area who are currently recruiting, and which preferred recruitment companies are involved, to whom they should apply.
